Do you take a percentage?

No, we come to an agreement with you on what you will net and then Bish’s sells your RV. We sell it for more to recoup our costs.

What if I want to break my consignment contract?

If you chose to pick up your consignment before your contract is up, there is a $500 fee for the inspection, cleaning, and marketing. However, if your unit didn’t sell and your contract is fulfilled, you don’t pay anything.

What tools do you use to determine the price you will net me?

We use multiple sources to determine the market value, including NADA, dealer current on-hand inventory, and market research.

Can I use my unit while it’s on consignment?

No, we ask that you empty your RV of all personal items and we need it on the lot the show to potential buyers. We need it ready to sell!

What happens if my unit doesn’t sell?

We have a couple options:

1. We will work with you to reduce pricing on our end and yours to make sure it's competitive.
2. You can pick up your unit

What costs go into a consignment?

We do what’s called a PDI (pre delivery inspection) this is to make sure your unit is road worthy for the new owner. We check appliance, gas, water lines and moving components within the RV. We wash the exterior of the RV regularly so that is looks sharp on our lot so we can professionally photograph, and market online for all 21 stores to have accessibility to sell it in any of our markets.

Do I have to empty my black and gray tanks?

Yes, if this isn’t done before consignment, we charge $185 so PLEASE dump your tanks as it is free to do so at most facilities. Remember to do this before dropping it off.

Do I need to take out my personal belongings before I consign/sell my unit?

Yes, please take out all personal belongings. It will sell better empty and everything in the unit and everything in the unit at the time of the sale will be sold with your RV.

Do I keep my license plates?

This will vary state-by state, the plates are yours to do as you want in some states, while others will require the plates stay with the RV. Please ask our consignment experts to verify what your state laws are! If you are in a state that does not require you to leave the plates with the RV, it is up to you if you would like to keep your plates, if you don’t want them, we will throw them away for you once it sells. However, if you do decide to keep them, please remove them before or at the time of consignment.

What are advantages to consigning vs an outright purchase?

1. We give you more money for your unit on consignment as opposed to an outright purchase
2. It’s free to consign where you would have to pay a premium on places like RV Trader to sell your unit

Do I need to continue to make payments on my unit if I have a loan?

Yes, if you have a loan, you will continue to make payments on your loan and insurance until we sell your unit.

What if I am financially upside down on my RV?

You will need to pay down your loan by the difference between the agreed net amount to you and the loan balance. 

What if I owe less on my loan than what you will give me for my camper?

We will pay off your existing loan balance and then we will cut you a check for the difference

How long after my unit sells will I get my check?

7-10 business days, if you have a loan, this would be after we receive the title from the bank

How long does it take for my loan to be paid off?

We overnight the check to the bank, however when they apply it could take 10 business days or more.

What items do I need to consign my unit?

• Driver’s license (anyone who is on the title/loan)
• Registration (if you don’t hold title)
• Title
• Copy of insurance
• Bank Loan Payoff statement with account number and payoff address

How long does the consignment appointment take?

Typically, between 30 minutes to an hour.

Once it’s Sold:

• We can take a trade in on your RV
• Provide financing to the new owner
• Complete all paperwork
• Pay off your loan
• Transfer the title
• Send you a check!
