- How to Buy Your 28VIEW
Today you have the unique privilege of taking a sneak peek at the new, cutting-edge 2024 Wildwood 28VIEW travel trailer.
You might wonder what sets the 28VIEW apart from the rest of the RV world. Hold onto your camping hats because this isn’t just another rehashed version of the same-old camper.
Unlike most new models that claim to be game changers, but end up being more of the same, the 28VIEW is genuinely unique. It’s not just a recycled floor plan with a fresh coat of paint; it’s a total reimagining of what a travel trailer can be.
It’s not always easy to find the details you need to know about brand new RV models, so here we’ll provide what you need to know to decide if this is the right camper for you.

The Great Indoors: Living Area
The RV community has spoken and manufacturers are beginning to answer. You want more campsite window views – and who can blame you! Why get out there if you can’t SEE it.
Wildwood listened and delivered a design with panoramic windows, even in the bedroom. It’s a genuine game-changer.
Rear Lounge Luxury
The 28VIEW offers a brand new concept Instead of the usual rear kitchen. The back of this camper has a residential-style, sectional Versa Lounge.
There is a staggering amount of window coverage that opens directly onto your campsite. It’s a sight to behold and unlike other models.
The large escape windows provide excellent airflow for fresh air and ensure your safety.
The perfect positioning of power outlets, both USB and standard, near the lounge, is a masterstroke.
28VIEW Kitchen: Dining with a Twist
The 28VIEW uses a fascinating kitchen layout.
They’ve designed a floor-flush kitchen slide, a feature commonly seen in high-end fifth-wheel brands. This slide maximizes countertop space and makes using your appliances easier. The placement of the kitchen outlets makes using appliances a lot easier.
Now, let’s talk dining.
Fewer RVers want a traditional booth dinette in their camper. Wildwood is ahead of the curve on this one. On the 28VIEW they fused an oversized island with the dining area, which is nice especially if you’re not a fan of banging your knees on your table in the dinette.
Bedroom Features
You’ll be welcomed by a surprise when you enter the bedroom of this RV. The 28VIEW is all about providing a view (hence the name), even in the bedroom.
Two oversized camping experience windows let you feel like you’re in nature, even from the comfort of your bed.
If you’re over six feet tall, you’ll appreciate the ample headroom that Wildwood provides in the bedroom.
Wildwood has also revolutionized the bedroom experience with a power bed system. Imagine sitting up at night, watching your favorite TV show in total comfort. Comfortable TV watching in an RV? It’s possible now!
Bathroom Features
- The 28View has 6’9” ceilings, even in the bathroom, which means taller folks like Josh, our favorite RV nerd, can comfortably stand in the shower without subconsciously worrying about hitting his head.
- A true medicine cabinet – no halfway commitments here.
- The toilet is positioned well with enough elbow room to take care of business.
- Dimmable light
- Tankless on-demand water heater controls
Park-Ready
This RV is perfect for those who want the flexibility to travel but may also want to set up camp for an extended stay.
Because there are no campside slides there is room for a spacious patio, a rarity in travel trailers This also leaves room for an incredibly generous (23’) awning.
There are also quick drop stabilizers that as Josh puts it, “live up to the hype”.
Road Mode
Let’s not forget the travel aspect.
You’ll find easy access to your bed and bathroom even while you’re on the road and the slides are in.
The long sofa at the back is also perfect for quick naps or to stretch out when you’re parked.
Be aware that when the slide is in the island prevents the fridge from opening. This can make grocery runs on the go a little more difficult, so keep that in mind if it’s important to you.
Let’s Not Forget the Exterior
As we venture outside, you’ll notice the huge awning with a center arm support. The entry door can swing open under the awning, a thoughtful touch to prevent any wind-induced mishaps.
The exterior speakers are wisely placed low, so you can enjoy your music without disturbing your neighbors. Wildwood knows that being a good camping neighbor is essential.
Potential Problem
The washer-dryer setup is unique. Although the RV is washer and dryer prepped, it doesn’t have a dedicated gray tank, which could be a challenge for some users. It’s a matter of personal preference whether you’d want to invest in a washer or dryer (It is a maybe on Josh’s list of RV add-ons).
