Living Area
Being 6’ 2” when I hear the words “compact RV” I instantly picture myself having to hunch over inside of the RV. Thankfully that’s not the case with this 8’ 10” tall Serenova.
The ventless floors make cleaning easy.
The ducted heating system warms the RV very efficiently.
The Euro door comes with a built-in screen to keep the critters out.
Plus, the integrated trash can at the bottom of the door keeps your space neat without a fuss.
The dinette has a telescopic leg that locks in for dining or folds away to make an extra bed.
Tucked in the corner you’ll find an easy-to-watch TV on a convenient, swinging mount.
The expansive windows let in plenty of light. Check out that massive rear window!
Kitchen
The functional kitchen of the Serenova 160LG comes with a convection microwave and a spacious Furrion 12-volt compressor fridge.
There isn’t a pantry, but the cabinetry maximizes storage. This camper proves that “pretty” design can be smart, too. Check out that added storage space above the fridge!
The fold-down sink and stove give you the countertop real estate when you need it most.
Bathroom
The skylight in the Serenova 160LG’s shower makes it comfortable for taller individuals. You’ll just need to make sure you don’t lean too hard left or right otherwise you might get an unwanted bonk on the head.

The on-demand water heater will help that shower stay warm!
The central medicine cabinet has shelves inside of it as well as on either side.
The folding sink tucks away to maximize space. This feature gives you more room in the bathroom, but it might be annoying to have to fold it every time you need to use the toilet beneath it – be aware.

Bedroom
The bedroom area has a true queen bed with a side-crawl configuration, which might be a quirky feature but also leaves room for additional storage underneath.
The airflow at the back of the RV is awesome thanks to that large rectangular window that pops open.
In the corners of this area you’ll find storage space between the cabinet sets as well as outlets to keep your devices powered.
Storage is generous, with double dressers below the bed and a versatile hanging wardrobe closet that doubles as extra kitchen storage.

Road Mode
On the road, the Serenova 160LG has great towing dynamics. The narrow body and wide axle balance provide stability, while the torsion axle and suspension ensure a smooth ride.
The lightweight all-aluminum chassis means easier towing and longevity.
Exterior
The exterior of the Serenova 160LG is thoughtfully equipped for the great outdoors. It boasts an anti-slam Euro door with a screen, a power step for easy entry, and an awning for instant shade.

The heated underbelly keeps the RV’s systems working in colder weather.
There’s an outdoor mini-fridge added as well here.
What Are Potential Problems With the Serenova?
The Serenova 160LG’s sideways bed might limit who can get in and out of it.
If you find that your joints just aren’t what they used to be and crawling across a queen bed sounds miserable, you’re going to want to pass on this RV. Also, keep in mind if a couple is sleeping here and one wants out of bed and the other doesn’t, there will be some brief “squishing” or awkward scooting around each other.
The 260LG is also heavier than similar RVs. Grand Design doesn’t skimp on quality, but those features can add extra weight. If weight is a concern, you may want to consider some of the lighter options below.
