Living Area Features
The living area of the 2024 Jayco Eagle 28.5RSTS is designed for comfort and entertainment. The theater seating is comfy and a well-placed TV sits at eye level, along with an upgraded JBL soundbar for high-quality audio.
The floating ottoman in front of the hide-a-bed sofa helps with storage – and who doesn’t love kicking those feet up at the end of the day?
The dining area has been revamped with a table that can rotate to serve as a dining desk or bar area.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a lot of storage packed into it. There’s a large cabinet with a fold-up shelf that can also function as a coat-hanging area.
The prep area is well structured, but there isn’t a ton of counter space. You’ll need to make the most of the kitchen island.
Bathroom
The bathroom in the 2024 Jayco Eagle 28.5RSTS features a radius shower with plenty of headroom.
One thing you can do to make the most out of the space in the bathroom is to remove the shelf under the sink to create space for a waste basket.
The floor plan allows for travel accessibility to the bathroom even during road mode.
Bedroom
The bedroom has an upgraded front windshield. This creates a visually appealing and comfortable sleeping space. You’ll get a ton of light in here during the day and get to experience the outdoors from your bedroom.
USB and household outlets conveniently on both sides of the bed.
There’s lots of storage with extra dresser drawers and a hanging closet.
There’s no option for a king-size bed, but you can choose an Olympic queen-size mattress. This provides a wider and more comfortable sleeping area.
Road Mode
Travel Access
This RV is designed with road travel in mind with opposing slides and an island layout. The kitchen slide does not block access at all when closed. This makes this RV fully accessible during travel. As long as the dining table chairs are tucked to the side, you’ll be able to get through the RV with no problems.
The bed remains functional even with the slide closed. With this you can stop to rest without needing to extend the slide. How’s that for road trip convenience?
Tow Requirements for the Eagle 28.5RSTS
You’ll need at least a ¾ ton vehicle to tow an RV of this size and hitch weight.
Even if you own a ¾ ton truck you’ll want to check its specific towing capabilites. For your safety and the safety of others on the road you’ll want to be sure your truck can handle your RV.

This RV includes a 3,000 lb. towing hitch on the rear wall, so it can tow extra equipment or trailers if needed.
