This RV is like the Frankenstein monster of RVs (in a good way) that was stitched together using your feedback. This thing converts, expands, and pops out in so many ways. It could be a toy hauler if you want it to be, or it could just be another travel trailer.
At Bishβs RV we know that not every RV is the right fit for every person. We love helping people find an RV that meets their needs.
We know that not everyone is looking for something that they can manipulate a ton, you might want something more cookie-cutter, but if you are, keep reading to learn more about this RVβs features so you can decide if itβs right for you.

Letβs switch things up this time around and letβs start with the exterior since this Ember has an awesome patio that we get to talk about.
Patio
The first thing youβll see is the screen door that is down creating a separation between the inside and the outside. Itβs what separates us from the animals. I swear that line is from a movie – but really the screen here is great for catching the breeze without the mosquitos.
The shade umbrella thing that you see above the patio is included! However, those bright yellow director’s chairs are not.
Youβll see on the left wall that leads into the RV is a smart TV/sound bar combo. I donβt know about you but itβs tempting to try and go camping and watch a scary movie out in the boonies with this setup. I donβt know, I feel like it might really just heighten the whole camping experience.
Anyway, moving along to the rest of the outside of the RV.
Exterior
Youβve got about 30ft of RV nose to tail. So when it comes to towing this bad boy, youβre going to want at least ΒΎ ton. But more on that later.
Fun fact, about 90% of the people who order this kind of RV get it with the big solar package on it because this RV was built for being taken off the trail and off the grid.
The underbelly is enclosed and heated which allows for more extended season camping.
Thereβs a wheel chock included and quick drop stabilizers as well. The tires are Goodyear Wranglers which as Josh points out are basically truck tires and are extremely durable.
Each wheel has its own suspension system.
The Euro Windows that you see on the outside are 2.5 times more insulating than frameless dual-pane windows.
The pass-thru storage goes all the way from one side of the RV to the other.
Everything is ran through a single sewer outlet which is extremely helpful for those who donβt necessarily like to deal with more than one outlet.
Lastly, for the exterior, you will not find any slides! So, as Josh puts it, you can totally go stealth mode on your camping trip. Which I think just means youβre quiet as you set up camp.
Living Area Features
The highlight of the living area is the Mega Lounge, a unique feature that converts into a twin bed or king bed setup, making it the first twin-bed Murphy bed camper on the market. This space can be a spot to relax, work, or enjoy a meal with friends and family. Plus, with the Ember Stargazer Skylight above, you can peek outside like a port hole on a submarine, perfect for stargazing or keeping an eye on the surroundings.
Kitchen
The kitchen features a convection air fryer microwave oven, a 12-volt DC compressor fridge, and plenty of counter space. The Euro-style windows give plenty of natural light and an impressive view of the campsite.
But what sets this kitchen apart is its adaptability. You’re only limited by your imagination when it comes to food preparation space and storage, thanks to the removable posts and Ember track system that allows you to customize the space to your liking. You can easily convert the bunks and desk into a dining bar, another desk, or even additional bunk beds. The possibilities are endless!
Bathroom
The 2024 Ember 240TKR bathroom has a porcelain foot-flush toilet and a shower. The shower has a Shower Miser system, allowing you to conserve water when dry camping.
Taller people might feel a little cramped inside the shower having to use the skylight but the toilet has plenty of space!
Bedroom
Ember has taken your feedback to heart and delivered a unique twin-to-king convertible bed system. You can have two separate beds, a single bed, or a massive king-size bed, all with an 80-inch length, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep for everyone.
Road Mode
Now, let’s talk about what makes this Ember truly special: its adaptability in “road mode.” If you fold up all of the furniture and bunk configurations and get them out of the way, you’re left with a wide-open cargo space.
This area can be used for storing all your adventure gear, from kayaks and bikes to motorcycles and more. And don’t worry about the cargo; Ember has sprinkled robust D-ring tie-downs throughout the RV to secure your precious cargo during transit.
Again to tow this Ember youβre going to want at least a ΒΎ ton tow rating but you can learn more about that by watching the video below.

Exterior
The exterior of the 2024 Ember 240TKR is built for adventure. It boasts an all-composite and aluminum body structure, making it lightweight yet durable. The four-wheel independent Curt trailing arm suspension system, paired with heavy-duty Wrangler tires, ensures a smooth and reliable ride, even on rough terrain. And with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) included, you can travel with confidence.
The RV’s rear patio is a standout feature, featuring a pop-up tent screen wall for shaded relaxation. It’s an ideal place to unwind, soak in the scenery, or entertain guests. Dual entertainment options, including 12-volt TV Soundbar Combos, ensure you’re never short of entertainment choices.
Potential Problems
While the 2024 Ember 240TKR is very adaptable, the battery disconnect location could be located in a better spot. But that almost feels like Iβm nit-picking such an amazing travel trailer.

Good Fit or Bad Fit
This RV is a great fit for someone who loves to get off the beaten path and pave their own way. Thatβs not to say it would be a bad fit for someone who doesnβt, it just has a lot more bells and whistles than the average RVer would need.
So, if youβre just looking for a basic RV to camp out and enjoy the outdoors in, donβt buy this RV. Consider something that has more basic features like a permanent bed or your typical murphy bed.
So, what do you think of this incredible Ember RV? Are you as excited about its adaptability and versatility as we are?
