Washing your dishes in an RV can be complicated sometimes. Most RVers prefer to wash their dishes outside where there is more room to work. Did you know there is a proper way to wash dishes? Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to properly wash and disinfect your dishes.
Heat water to a comfortable temperature. Then fill your first dish pan with warm water and a small amount of dish soap. This will be where you begin the process.
Fill the second pan with warm water as well. Though water should be a tad bit warmer than your first pan. This will be where you rinse your dishes.
Fill the third pan with water that is comfortable for you, it doesn’t have to be a certain temperature. Then you will add one cap full of bleach making this your sanitize pan.
There is also a proper way to clean dishpans. You will want to begin by disposing your dish water in the right area. To save water, use the water in your second dishpan to wash out the first one. Finally, use the water in the third pan to clean and sanitize the other two dishpans.
Making sure your dishes are free and clear from any germs is very important. You always want to make sure the job is done effectively. No one wants to get sick while trying to enjoy some time in the outdoors.
