You’ve all seen many different camping recipes of varying difficulty. Some require dutch ovens, open flames, or a whole lot of preparation. So when we saw THIS camping recipe, from the Beyer Beware blog, we knew we had to share!
Step 1: In a freezer zip lock bag, add 2-3 eggs, and all omelette ingredients of your choice (i.e. olives, peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheese, etc.)
Step 2: Seal the bag closed, and shake up/mix up ingredients in the bag.
Step 3: Place your bags in boiling water for about 15-20 minutes, or about 7 minutes per egg. (2 egg omelette = 14 minutes, 3 egg omelette = 21 minutes)
Step 4: Remove from boiling water, and place on plate.
THAT’S IT! BON APPETIT!
