Go Explore X252 Living

The Go Explore X252 was created with a focus on family interaction and functional living rather than traditional RV entertainment layouts. While many models prioritize direct-facing entertainment centers, the X252 takes a different approach—one that encourages face-to-face time rather than screen time.

This model isn’t about lounging inside and watching TV for hours. Instead, it’s built for outdoor adventures, quality family time, and practical everyday use.

The super slide living room expands into a comfortable space for gathering, with theater seating and a pivoting TV for flexibility.

While it may not offer a straight-on entertainment setup, it provides something even better: a layout that encourages conversation, relaxation, and making memorable experiences.

If you’re looking for a massive entertainment center with direct viewing angles, this might not be the right RV for you—and that’s okay! But if you’re searching for a model that prioritizes practical features, smart storage, and a comfortable living space that keeps your family turning towards each other rather than a screen, the X252 delivers just that.

Beyond the living space, the Go Explore X252 includes the “extras” that make everyday RV life easier:

Unlike many travel trailers that squeeze a bed into an open-concept space, the X252 features a fully enclosed private front bedroom. This design offers true separation from the rest of the RV, providing a quiet retreat at the end of the day.

The Olympic Queen bed (66” x 80”) offers extra space without making the room feel cramped. Storage is another highlight, with double dresser drawers on both sides of the bed and an under-bed storage area that includes two removable storage totes with lids—perfect for keeping camping gear organized.

  • Folding bunk design lets you create additional storage when needed.

Despite compact dimensions, the bathroom offers practical amenities and storage solutions. The space is designed to feel larger than it is, with designated storage solutions and adequate ventilation.

A direct entry bathroom door is one of the most underrated features in an RV, but once you experience it, you won’t want to go back. Whether you’re coming back from a hike, a day at the lake, or simply sitting around the campfire, this feature keeps dirt and mess from tracking through the rest of the RV.

Swinging Door with Locking Handle: The bathroom is equipped with a swinging door that not only offers enhanced privacy but also allows for better access compared to other designs, especially in tighter spaces.

Smart Use of Space: Built-in towel storage is thoughtfully integrated above the toilet and towel hooks along the wall, maximizes storage without occupying valuable bathroom space.

XL Vent Fan for Superior Airflow: While the preview model features a standard vent fan, production models will include an upgraded XL vent fan to ensure maximum ventilation and airflow.

Go Explore X252 Road Mode

Road mode in the Go Explore X252 is somewhat limited, but the peninsula countertop maximizes functionality. This design makes the sink easy to access while still allowing you to be part of the conversational living space.

However, when the slide is closed, the space becomes tight—though still navigable. Walking through requires a bit of a sideways maneuver, but it is possible to access key areas of the RV.

For those who may find this too restrictive, the direct-entry bathroom door provides an alternative way to reach the bathroom, kitchen, and bunks without having to open the slide, ensuring that essential areas remain accessible even in road mode.
