What is a Rockwood Geo Pro?

The Rockwood Geo Pro series, built by Forest River RV, is built for those who love adventure but don’t want to give up essential comforts.

These travel trailers are compact and easy to tow, making them a great choice for both experienced travelers and those new to RVing.

With a focus on versatility, the Geo Pro lineup provides a variety of floor plans, allowing you to choose the layout that best suits your camping needs.

One of the big features of the small Rockwood Geo Pro is its off-road ability. These trailers come with bigger off-road tires and a solar package as standard, so you can take them to more remote and rugged places.

For even more flexibility, some models offer an optional power package, which lets you stay off-grid longer, perfect for those who enjoy a more independent camping experience.

Overall, the Rockwood Geo Pro combines practicality with adventure-ready features, making it a popular choice for campers who want to explore beyond the beaten path while still enjoying the comforts of home.

What is the Price of a Rockwood Geo Pro Travel Trailer?

Geo Pro National Price Range: $14,500 – $50,000

There are 13 floor plans to choose from in the Rockwood Geo Pro Lineup.
The price for each of the Geo Pro models varies, depending on the its size, floor plan, options and age.

How Age affects “New” Rockwood Trailer Prices

Before making a purchase, it’s essential to understand how age affects the price ranges of “New” Rockwood Geo Pro Travel Trailers.

The lowest-priced options might include previous year models which have not sold yet. RV Dealers may have over-stocked on certain Geo Pro models from previous years and are now offering them at discounted prices to make room for current-year models.

Although there are not many differences between Geo Pro Models from current and previous years, they are not 100% exactly the same.

If you’re buying a lower priced “new” model from a previous year, be aware that it will not offer all the up-to-date features of current year Geo Pros.

Rockwood Geo Pro “Special Features”

While we’re calling these ”Special Features”, all Geo Pro models come equipped with these great construction and safety features as standard features.

Maybe we should have called them “Standard Special Features.”

AZDEL LAMINATION

Sidewall-2X-Group-1

Geo Pro travel trailers have a fantastic construction feature called Azdel lamination. Azdel is a special material that makes the walls of the Geo Pro stronger and more durable. It also weighs less than the traditional plywood used in laminate RV wall panels.

This advanced construction technique makes Rockwood Geo Pro campers sturdy and durable, so they last a long time and withstand the all the rigors of your outdoor adventures.

With Azdel lamination, you can have confidence that your Geo Pro travel trailer will be strong, reliable and resistant to water damage when you’re camping in the wild .

6-Sided Aluminum Cage Construction

One of the most impressive features of the Rockwood Geo Pro is its 6-sided aluminum cage construction. This advanced frame design ensures that the trailer is both lightweight and incredibly durable.

The aluminum structure provides superior strength compared to traditional wood frames, reducing the overall weight without sacrificing stability.

This construction method not only enhances the trailer’s durability but also contributes to its ease of towing, making it an ideal option for those looking to travel further with less hassle.

The added strength and reduced weight mean you can enjoy more fuel efficiency and a longer-lasting trailer.

Comprehensive Solar Package

Another standout feature of the Geo Pro is its quality solar package, designed for campers who love to explore off-grid.

The standard 200W roof solar panel, paired with an 1800W inverter, provides power to keep your interior lights and small appliances running if you need power while you’re away from traditional power sources.

This solar setup is perfect for those who want to enjoy the peace and solitude of remote camping locations without giving up modern conveniences.

The addition of a ground solar prep option allows for even more flexibility, giving you the ability to expand your solar capacity as needed.

This feature is a significant upgrade from the basic solar offerings you might find on lower-end travel trailers, making the Geo Pro a top choice for eco-conscious adventurers.

Dexter Torflex Torsion Axles with Tire Pressure Monitoring System

A feature that truly sets the Geo Pro apart from many entry-level trailers is its Dexter Torflex torsion axle system.

Unlike traditional leaf spring axles, the Torflex system provides a smoother, quieter ride, reducing the impact of road vibrations on the trailer and its contents. This system enhances stability and control, especially on uneven terrain, making your towing experience safer and more comfortable.

Additionally, the Geo Pro comes equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which constantly monitors tire pressure and alerts you to any issues.

This not only adds an extra layer of safety but also helps prevent blowouts and extends the life of your tires—features often absent in more budget-conscious models.

Rockwood Geo Pro Standard Features

Rockwood Geo Pros have additional standard features that make this one of the nation’s most popular RV brands.
