Living Area Features of the 2024 Heritage Glen 286RL
I might be partial to having an island (and the 286RL one does). I don’t necessarily like cooking while wondering where I’m going to set my dish down while I grab something off the stove. The island is big enough to be useful and not so big that it takes up all of the space.
The living area has one of the best TV mount setups that I’ve seen. It sits in a corner directly across from the seats and is positioned at the perfect height.

That island I mentioned earlier gives you the space you need to make cooking successful. And it’s no secret that when you’re camping, storage is always top of mind. The pantry in the corner right next to the fridge removes any worries RVers might have about having room for it all.

Bathroom Features of the 2024 Heritage Glen 286RL
Moving into the bathroom there’s a couple of things here that are worth mentioning. First, is the towel hooks right above the toilet that make storing towels and clothes convenient.
The second thing is the space overall. There’s space to easily use the toilet, even for someone like Josh the RV Nerd (seen below). As well as the space for head clearance in the shower – Josh is 6′ 2″.

Bedroom Features of the 2024 Heritage Glen 286RL
The first thing that stuck out to me in the bedroom was the amount of space between the bed and the wall. This is possible because unlike with similar floorplans of other brands, the bed sits in its own designated slide.
Another feature that stuck out was instead of having two little cubbies or cabinets on either side of the bed, the 286RL has a full-on closet with washer and dryer preps.
The versa-tilt bed here gives you a place to kick back without having to lay all the way down.

You can easily see here how convenient having a bed slide is when it comes to space.
Features on the Outside of the 2024 Heritage Glen 286RL
One thing to keep in mind with this RV is the length. This is one of the shorter fifth-wheels out there that also includes a bed slide, pwhich helps with keeping the overall price down, while still packing in all of the needed features.
It is a single-headed sewer line and it is a heated underbelly as well.
