The 2024 Arcadia Select 27SBH by Keystone RV could be called a budget-friendly fifth wheel. It’s probably not the largest fifth wheel out there but it has some fun features out there that are worth looking into a little more. If you’d like to learn what those features are then keep reading!

As I mentioned in the introduction of this review, the Arcadia 27SBH is a little more budget-friendly than other fifth wheels by Keystone RV. You won’t find a fancy kitchen island or walk-in pantry here. But what you will find here are features that just make sense:
- Privacy shade on the entry door
- Fold down bed in dinette and sofa
- Triple/Double bunks rated up to 300 lbs (you can use the lowest bunk as a storage area)
Each bunk has its own light, power source (outlet and/or USB), and window. The only exception is the bottom bunk which is actually exterior storage access.
Kitchen of the 2024 Arcadia 27SBH
There is plenty of lighting under the overhead cabinets above the kitchen counters – grabbing a midnight snack should be no problem at all!
The stove/oven combo is smaller in this fifth wheel than in past models which might be a little bit of a disappointment.
You’ll see you have a lot of storage in the kitchen. This is due in part to Keystone opting to swap the fireplace for more drawers and cabinets.
You’ll appreciate that not all of the outlets are up and under the cabinets. Some of them are placed off to the side – for example in the image below.

Bathroom of the 2024 Arcadia 27SBH
You’ll find the bathroom towards the front of the RV up a small set of stairs and in between the kitchen and the bedroom.
Whether sitting or standing to take care of business the bathroom has plenty of room.

The bedroom of the 2024 Arcadia 27SBH has some great features:
- True queen bed
- Big hanging closet
- Dual night stands
- Overhead storage
- Under-the-bed storage
- Outlets on each side of the bed

Traveling in the 2024 Arcadia 27SBH
While you still have access to the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, with the slides closed – you lose access to the bunks.
While a half-ton truck can tow this fifth wheel, some half-tons won’t be able to tow the hitch weight of 1,395 lbs. To learn more about vehicle tow ratings you can watch Josh’s video below:
Features on the Outside of the 2024 Arcadia 27SBH
Solar Power
This time around, Keystone RV has upped the Solar Panel from 200watts to 220watts using a 30 amp controller instead of just a 15 amp controller.
Exterior Inverter Prepped Outlet
For offgrid camping, this outlet can come in handy for any appliances or devices that you need to power off of battery power. Keep in mind, this will run down your battery power quickly because inverters tend to pull a little hard on the power side.
30 lbs Propane Tanks
This is an example of an accordion, but with even more text.
While it seems like the RV industry is drifiting away from the 30’s, Keystone RV has decided to maintain them which gives you, the RVer more time off the grid.
Prepped for Telescopic Ladder
The Arcadia 27SBH is prepped for a telescopic ladder. Not all RVers like to have the ladder pre-installed, so having it prepped for one is the more sensible route to take.
Potential Problems With the 2024 Arcadia 27SBH
There are two potential problems that I found that could knock this RV out of the running for RVers.
- The charger on the floor next to the bunks.
- This could be an issue for families that have young kids who have a hard time fighting that inner curiosity to not push buttons
- The vents in the floor make this RV questionable for pets
As always, weigh these cons with all of the pros I’ve mentioned throughout the article and think about whether this RV could be the one for you and your family. It could very well be the perfect fit!
