The Annual Christmas in the Nighttime Sky, a local Marine Corp Toys for Tots toy drive, is on Saturday, December 3, 2016 (first Saturday in December) at Bish’s RV in Idaho Falls.
The festivities kick off at 4:30 p.m. with free food (chili potato dinner with scones for dessert), hay rides, and a visit from Santa. An intimate Christmas fireworks show starts at 6 p.m. with coordinating music broadcasted on 99 KUPI (99.1 FM or 99.5 FM). We will have straw bales for seating and bonfires to keep warm by. But if you want a comfy seat, make sure to bring your lawn chairs and remember to layer your clothing!
Admission into the event is the donation of a new, unwrapped toy for any age. The toys are collected and distributed to kids from Firth to St. Anthony for Christmas. The Marine Corp Toys for Tots wants to remind people to also bring toys for the older kids (ages 8 to 13). You can decide how much you want to donate – it’s up to your giving heart – there is no minimum or limit. We’ll also be collecting money to donate to the organization as well. In 2015, over 900 toys and over $380 was collected during this event and donated to the local Marine Corp Toys for Tots organization.

**Bish’s RV Super Center and the Sponsors of Christmas in the Nighttime Sky do not decide which children receive the toys that are donated to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots. All toys collected will be donated to the local Marine Corp Toys for Tots office in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Marine Corp Toys for Tots office along with the local Health and Welfare office will then decide which children receive toys based on their application process.
