The National Parks Service designates free entrance days for 133 of their National Parks and Monuments every year so more people can take advantage of what these amazing sites have to offer. For the 2014 season, here are the free entrance day dates:
January 20 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
February 15 to 17 – Presidents Day weekend
April 19 and 20 – National Park Week’s opening weekend
August 25 – National Park Service’s 98th Birthday
September 27 – National Public Lands Day
November 11 – Veterans Day
